The Peacebuilding Portal is a gateway for valuable information for the critical thematic areas within conflict management and peacebuilding. 

In fulfilment of the UN's commitment to integrate the issue of youth and children within the realm of conflict management and peacebuilding into its work, and in the spirit of UN agency and family teamwork, the Portal, in partnership with both the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF)  and Office of the Special Representative of the Secretary-General for Children and Armed Conflict  offers information on NGOs working on the issue of youth and children in peacebuilding.

The website is structured to fully incorporate data related to youth and children rights in conflict management and peacebuilding.  It's hoped that this information will be useful to those in government, civil society, local, national, regional and international organizations in their efforts to support dialogue on the youth and children theme within peacebuilding processes.
